A New Approach to Healing Trauma Through Lucid Dreaming

Broadcast on April 18, 2022
With Charlie Morley
Hosted by Theresa Cheung

Charlie Morley explores his pioneering approach to healing trauma affected by sleep. He'll cover topics from his book Wake Up to Sleep: 5 Powerful Practices to Transform Stress and Trauma for Peaceful Sleep and Mindful Dreams. By using lucid dreaming alongside breathwork, yoga nidra and sleep awareness, Charlie has created a protocol that not only improves sleep quality in 87% of people, but can also scientifically lower PTSD levels in traumatized populations.

In this session, you’ll discover:

  • How lucid dreaming can treat trauma and PTSD
  • Why breathing much slower than usual is the key to a good sleep and a great life
  • Why nightmares are GOOD for you and almost always an indication of healing
The views expressed are specific to the author/speaker and may vary from the perspectives of The Shift Network's participants, staff, or other speakers.
