Delwin Elk Bear Fiddler, known as Hehakapa Mahto, is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, Sans Arc band, and a world-renowned Native American performing Artist. Delwin's accolades include performing for two American Presidents and the Royal Family in England. He was also a champion Grass and Hoop dancer on the pow-wow circuit. His traditional Grass Dance is displayed in a continual loop at the Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C.
Aside from being an International performing artist, Hehakapa Mahto’s work involves a commitment to protecting and defending Mother Earth. He is the Founder, President & CEO of his non-profit called PAZA (Tree of Life in Lakota) which he founded to promote cultural awareness through cultural exchange and education, as well as to preserve his native heritage and retain the indigenous traditions of all native people for future generations.
